The great guys...
We have been blessed these past couple of months to get to know James and Seth. They put their lives on hold and came to Guatemala to see what God would show them here.

This week is a blessing to have the family back. Nancy has been in the states for the past several weeks to bury her brother who had been battling cancer for the past 18 months. On her return flight came Matt and Ale. Neither of them had been to Guatemala for almost the same period of time - 18 months.
It was a wonderful homecoming.
There week included general help in serving a nearby orphanage...
Building a house for the new colonia in Pastores...
time in the Malnutrition Center in San Juan...
time with children's out reach events...
and contributing to the local boot industry... Yea God!
The process has been slow and deliberate. But God has brought the right people to make it happen. El es El Camino, the new neighborhood being built to replace lives other wise destroyed in Tropical Storm Agatha, is making progress.

Members of the city workers making the project happen...
Yea God!
share with the families other tangible evidence of God's love...
and look for other expansion of ministry through IDC...
Yea God!
But this is such a God thing for us to see his children growing. And we get to offer such a small part. The students are coming together to study science, art, music...and just have fun!
It turned out that he had been referring to the 7am-9am time slot when we host motivational meetings with Valor and Service for the National Police of Guatemala. Why else would police come to the church? I can tell you it was because they accepted the invitation to come for breakfast and hear the teaching of Biblical values. Woof!
