So now you...Mike sorry to hear about your accident. So now you will have to sit back and take it easy. Bet the wife loves that. But will be praying for you and the family. Take care of your self and be good.
ColinColin Hearnhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00593303771265200917noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7188782138870025644.post-76656388420972749512008-05-03T02:19:00.000-04:002008-05-03T02:19:00.000-04:00Pastor Mike, we just read your newsletter. Althou...Pastor Mike, we just read your newsletter. Although it was clearly a painful experience, we praise God that it wasn't more serious. Still, we will be praying harder than ever and we will contribute towards your expenses. We love you all in Christ, God bless you.

Juan & MaliaAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7188782138870025644.post-8570162851000234352008-05-02T15:17:00.000-04:002008-05-02T15:17:00.000-04:00Golly Pastor Mike... did seeing me stuck in bed lo...Golly Pastor Mike... did seeing me stuck in bed look THAT appealing? If so, ya COULD'VE just taken a few days off with Nancy and made it a mini-vacation, instead of such a major ordeal!

Now we both have plenty of time to pray! smile...

Seriously, I was HORRIFIED to hear of your accident!!!

I hope (and will be praying) you can find the patience during the recovery time to tolerate the wait and that it'll go fast (altho at times it'll probably seem like it's hardly moving! This is 'experience' talking, remember..smile)

I feel especially close to 'accident's' right now, obviously, DAH, so you truly ARE on my heart ALOT!

What's helping me to deal with 'recovery' is to picture this whole experience as a stoplight...

Red stopped us up short, then comes the long extended yellow light of recovery which seems like it'll never turn green and get us back going full speed.

But we both know that GREEN WILL COME no matter how long it seems like it's going to take!!!!

I even embroidried myself (and thot of you while I was doing it, too) a bookmark paraphrased from IS 40:31, "Those who wait and trust in the Lord shall regain their strength, heal completely, walk (ride in your case, smile) without fear and soar on wings as eagles above the cobblestone streets and cracked sidewalks (altho you and your bike should stay off those anyways.) smile.

I'm glad you have gotten moved into the Caminos "compound' so when you need company or help, it'll be close. Meals will be easier for Nancy, too...smile

Praying for you lots! Oh, by the way, you do take the prize for color...just looked at the photos and am glad the 5 day report went so well!

Praying for you, my dear brother!
Mary JAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7188782138870025644.post-80746463740622926532008-05-02T14:31:00.000-04:002008-05-02T14:31:00.000-04:00Mike - I heard about your accident.
